Otherwise, the blades must be sent in a wooden box or bolted to a board then packed in a sturdy cardboard box.

Do not tape blade boxes together or use plastic wrap as these can separate during transport or get caught up in the sorting machinery.

Designed and built by Morsø Dan-List specifically for getting the most from Morsø guillotine blades. The machine not only hollow grinds, but also ensures symmetrical sharpening of your blades. We don’t need to use different machines to grind, remove chips, hills and/or realign your blades thanks to Morsø’s advanced technology and precision engineering. Unlike conventional machines, the Morsø doesn’t require a flood coolant system as the sharpening stone is custom made for Morsø, thus ensuring your blades will not overheat.

Morsø Dan-List in Denmark not only manufactures Morsø machines but also manufactures Morsø guillotine blades. The cutting edge of the Morsø blade is made from Austrian steel with a Rockwell hardness of 64; it is attached to the tool's body and then carefully heat-tempered with Dan-List's closely guarded process. Next the blade surface is precision ground to thickness, and then hollow ground to 30° to the face of the blade, hand-honed and deburred. In order to offer your customers consistent quality and craftsmanship, we recommend you only use Morsø blades serviced to Morsø specifications.

There are a few generic blades on the market, but they don’t offer the longevity and precision of a Morsø blade, and in many cases they are not hollow ground or handhoned. In addition to this, there are no generic blades made to the Rockwell hardness.
